Stop the violence! Arrest the assailants! (Updated: 1/3/2012)
1.3.2012: In Penang, about 70 journalist from various media wearing in black gathered in front Penang Police HQ to express theirs unsatisfaction that police yet to take any action to arrest the UMNO and PERKASA supporters who attacked 2 reporters during Himpunan Hijau 2.0 in Penang last Sunday.
Representatives from Penang Press Club, Penang Chinese Media Journalist and Photographers Association, Journalist Union Of North Malaya, Penang Press Employee's Cooperative Society Ltd. and Seberang Perai Press Association today jointly handover a memorandum, and petition signed by 249 media personnel to Penang CPO Dato Wira Ayub Yaakob, and strongly request Penang Police to take actions against the assailants.
